About Gala Bath

Gala Bingo Bath is located in the old Lyric Theatre, in the heart of Bath and close to all the major bus routes, but there is also a pay and display car park available nearby.

The club prides itself on being a social club, and has an active Facebook page with all that’s going on and what’s coming up, but the priority is Bingo! There are daily specials, regular promotions, lots of free sessions, and of course, plenty of great prizes up for grabs.

If you fancy a quick spin, there’s a good gaming area with all the latest fruit machines, and there is also a bar and diner serving good value food and beverages. There are also cash machines, disabled facilities, and hearing loops available if required.

The building has a long history of entertainment, having started life as The Lyric Theatre in 1895, then showed vaudeville and variety shows as the Palace Theatre from 1905. It continued its life as a theatre until 1956, then was turned into a ballroom, then a Gala Bingo hall in the 1960’s, with a small cinema attached in 1976.

The exterior remains the same, and has a Grade II listing, but the interior now houses a popular cafe and restaurant, as well as the Gala club.
