LC International Limited is a company based in Gibraltar. Their company address is Suite 6, Atlantic Suites, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA. Their parent company is Entain Plc, which is one of the largest gambling companies in the world. They run a whole selection of online casinos, slot and bingo sites, being market leaders in most countries in which they operate. You might also have spotted a related name, ElectraWorks Limited, on older statements. That’s a sister company in the same Entain group at the same Gibraltar address, and it held the UK licence for these brands before it moved across to LC International. Same operation, just a different name on the paperwork, which has now been retired.
LC International is fully licensed through the UK Gambling Commission (License number 54743) and just about every other jurisdiction in which they work. Alongside their UK licenses, most of their brands also feature approval from the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Commission. The UK licence itself covers bingo, casino and betting in all its remote forms, and it’s online-only, with not a single premises attached to it. The high-street shops run under a different Entain company.
It goes without saying that some of Entain gambling sites such as Ladbrokes and Coral have been established for a huge period of time. For example, Ladbrokes betting shops were founded in 1902. Likewise, Coral was founded in 1926. Needless to say, we think this company is one of the most prominent iGaming companies around. That size hasn’t kept it out of trouble with the regulator, mind, and we cover that further down the page.

A few footnotes from the register that other lists tend to miss. Gala Coral appears as a trading name but has no site of its own, it’s simply the old group name kept registered and is typically just refered to as Coral these days. Cheeky Bingo and Party Sports both sit in the inactive column, which is register-speak for closed. And if you’ve seen Betdaq mentioned alongside these brands elsewhere, it isn’t on this licence at all.
LC International on Your Bank Statement
The charge shows up in a few forms depending on your bank, from the full LC International Limited to shortened versions like LC International L, often with Gibraltar or GI tacked on the end. Whatever the formatting, it’s the same company, and the payment relates to one of the sites above.
Working out which one is straightforward. Log into whichever of the brands you hold an account with and open the cashier or transaction history, where your deposits will match the statement line and date. If LC International has taken money you don’t recognise, start with the household (a partner’s Gala habit has surprised more than one statement reader), then contact the brand’s own support before your bank, since the operator can trace the exact account behind a transaction. Where nobody in the house has an account, treat it as a fraudulent card payment and let your bank take over.

Not the Only LC International
Here’s a wrinkle worth knowing before you go searching. There are at least three companies using this name, and only one of them runs bingo sites. The gambling operator is registered in Gibraltar, which means it doesn’t appear on the UK Companies House register at all. The LC INTERNATIONAL LTD you’ll find there (company 11507998) is an unrelated British engineering firm, and there’s an Italian gas business trading under the same name too. If you’ve been trying to look the company up and ending up with diggers or gas bottles, that’s why. Wrong guys!
The Entain Connection
So who owns it all? LC International is the online licence-holding company for Entain Plc, the London-listed group that grew out of the UK’s two most famous bookmaking chains. Ladbrokes and the Gala Coral group merged in 2016, GVC Holdings bought the combined business in 2018, and GVC then renamed itself Entain in 2020. The Entain brands on this page are its bingo-led corner, but the same group runs a much wider betting and gaming stable across dozens of countries.
For bingo players, the practical upshot of Entain bingo sites sharing one company is that the brands lean on shared platforms and pooled rooms, and one account’s details can be verified faster when you join a sister site. It also means one set of compliance systems across the lot, which brings us to the next section.
The £17 Million Settlement
In August 2022 the Gambling Commission announced that Entain would pay £17 million for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures, at the time the largest enforcement outcome the regulator had ever reached. £14 million of it related to LC International’s online business specifically, with the rest covering the group’s betting shops, and the money was directed to socially responsible purposes rather than paid as a fine to the Treasury.
The published failures make sobering reading. One online customer deposited £230,845 over 18 months of overnight sessions and received a single chat interaction. Another, blocked by Coral after £60,000 in a year, opened a Ladbrokes account the same day and deposited £30,000. The settlement also bolted extra conditions onto the licence, including board-level oversight of an improvement plan and a third-party compliance audit, and the Commission noted publicly that it was the operator’s second offence and that further serious breaches could put the licence itself at risk.
