About Gala Tamworth

Gala Bingo Tamworth is located in the centre of the town, close to the main shopping area, and has parking for up to 50 cars.

The club prides itself on being part of the local community, and everyone from experts to beginners to visitors is welcome.

They have daily Bingo specials and regular promotions, and plenty of great prizes on offer, but if you want a brief interlude, there’s also a gaming area with the latest slot machines. There’s also a bar and diner serving good value food and beverages, a smoking shelter, and cash machines, hearing loops, and disabled facilities are available if required.

The intriguing name of Spinning School Lane came about in the 17th century, when the High Steward of the area, Lord Weymouth, gave the town a barn and a little land, where a ‘spinning school’ was set up to teach homeless boys and girls how to earn a living.
