Welcome Offer

Money Saver Bingo was the 16th site to launch on the up and coming 15 Network, that said, it’s not as good as most of its stablemates including the popular Dove Bingo and Elf Bingo.

Launched in April 2014 it will all seem very familiar if you’ve played any of the other sites in the network, but where they’re busy and fun, this one’s a bit lacklustre and amateurish!

After making a deposit of £10 or more new players will receive a spin of the Mega Wheel, providing a chance of winning up to 500 free spins on the ever-popular Fluffy Favourites slot. This is the same promotion as all the other sites on the 15 Network, making it clear Money Saver doesn’t offer any unique value you can’t find elsewhere.

First Impressions

Our first major pet peeve is with the name, which is pretty irresponsible when you consider the impact gambling can have on some people, but also it’s completely misleading, as you don’t save money here – it’s an online gaming site, not a bank!

The homepage is pretty basic in design and we won’t even talk about the pig money box logo! It features the spinning wheel found across the network, links to top games and jackpots, and guaranteed cashback offer exclusive to the site.

There are also navigational tabs to the main pages, and a quick link to its Facebook page which at the time of print has a mere 213 followers, and still has a lot to learn about effective uses of social media – Helen Keller quotes don’t quite cut the mustard!

Registering is a quick process, with no credit card details required if you just want a sneak peek, but you won’t be entitled to the welcome offer until you make a deposit – and the free gameplay is limited, especially if you have no loyalty points status.

Bonuses and Promotions

As well as the spinning wheel, you’ll find some other promos from the network such as Monday Madness, plus lots of jackpots and guaranteed prizes including the £2000 Pay Day jackpot.

The Cash Back promotion is exclusive to Money Saver Bingo and offers 10% cash back on all losses throughout the month up to £50 – which seems a good deal, but doesn’t really help it live up to its name of Money Saver!

There is a decent loyalty scheme which builds points through playing and paying, and these can be converted into bonus points to play with. If you get a friend to sign up and deposit, you get 5,000 loyalty points, which is well worth your while.

If you get stuck, there’s a detailed FAQ section with answers to most queries, but for more in-depth support you can call or email their support team.

Bingo and Slots Games

With only 90 and 75 ball Bingo available the lobby can seem a bit sparse, but there’s a good selection of gameplay here, including team Bingo, free Bingo, and there’s a ‘Newbie’ room for recent joiners to ease into the game, but with some good prizes up for grabs.

You can choose your game according to price, prize, players, or pre-buy here, and there’s an average selection of Slots and Instants to choose from if that’s more your cup of tea.

The Bingo Rooms are the standard format for the network, so are user-friendly, and contain lots of information about how to play, what’s on offer, and your details.

Purchasing cards is made easy with an auto-selection option or self-select if you prefer, and there are also pre-buy and auto-buy options that you can use too.

There are loads of options to choose from including notifications when friends log in, when players leave, displaying your profile and your VIP status – and you can always turn the sound off if the calls are getting a bit annoying!

In between Bingo there are also a few mini-games, and the chatbox is hard to miss as it dominates the scene – whether it’s because it’s a new site, late at night, or just not very popular, it was pretty quiet when we checked it out, but there were some good chat games going on.

Summary

This site annoyed us from the start so we were in a bad mood throughout, and despite being part of the popular and successful 15 Network, we just didn’t enjoy this site as much as most of the others. The biggest gripe with Money Saver Bingo is the fact that it’s a gambling site with a theme of saving money, which in all honesty, seems pretty dishonest.

On top of that, it has the same gameplay, promotions, and state of the art software, but with a small community it was quiet, and the jackpots were pretty small. All things being considered, I would give this site a miss and look at the many other great alternatives on the same network.
