What Happened to Velvet Bingo?
Velvet Bingo opened in 2013, moved onto Broadway Gaming’s Dragonfish network in 2020 and closed in late 2025. Its search traffic fell away that autumn, and by early February 2026 its address, velvetbingo.com, was forwarding visitors to Moon Bingo. A separate address, velvetbingo.co.uk, now shows a site using the Velvet Bingo name, with a large welcome bonus and no identifiable company behind it.
| Address | velvetbingo.com | velvetbingo.co.uk |
|---|---|---|
| Who ran it: | Broadway Gaming (licence 58267) | No company named |
| Licence number shown: | 58267 while it traded | None |
| Today: | Inactive on the register; no longer loads | A lookalike bonus site |
Is velvetbingo.co.uk Legit?
We’d treat it as untrusted given its history. On our visit on 9 October 2026 the page offered a 100% bonus up to £600 plus 180 free spins and claimed to be licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, yet it gave no licence number and no company name. The real Velvet Bingo traded on a different address, and the licence holder lists that address as inactive.
A licensed UK site always names the company running it and its account number, usually in the footer. If those are missing, keep your card and your login details to yourself.
How Did It Close?
The web archive still has velvetbingo.com in September 2025, though those captures are a script-only page we can’t read, so they don’t tell us what was on offer. By 5 February 2026, the same address was redirecting to Moon Bingo, another Broadway site. Search traffic to Velvet dropped close to zero in November 2025, which puts the closure in the last few months of that year.
The Gambling Commission’s register confirms the brand has gone. Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited’s account, 58267, lists both velvetbingo.com and velvetslots.com as inactive.
Login and Withdrawals
The Velvet Bingo login closed with the site. For a withdrawal that hadn’t arrived or money left in an old account, Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited held the licence, so that’s who to contact. If it isn’t resolved, the register entry for account 58267 has a link to the Commission’s advice on raising a complaint.
Whatever you do, don’t try your old Velvet details on velvetbingo.co.uk. It isn’t the site you had an account with.
No Deposit Bonus, Free Spins and Codes
Searches for a Velvet Bingo no deposit bonus, free spins or a bonus code all lead to the same answer. The real site’s offers ended in 2025, and the bonuses on velvetbingo.co.uk aren’t Velvet Bingo offers. For current deals from licensed sites, our no deposit free spins page is kept up to date.
Alternatives
Moon Bingo is where Broadway pointed Velvet’s address, and it’s one of our picks too. Other Dragonfish sites from the same company, including Wink Bingo and 888 Ladies, are still open. You’ll find every other closure on this page of closed sites.

Velvet Bingo opened in November 2013 but became part of the Dragonfish family in 2020. This means when you join, you play with players from other bingo sites like Sugar Bingo and Spectra Bingo, giving you access to large jackpots prizes.
First Impressions
First impressions were good. The site is designed in a classic style, and it almost has a burlesque feel, with rich burgundy tones. If I am being honest, not many sites are themed in this style, and the design reminds me a tad of Sparkling Bingo, that said, I really like how the site has been implemented.
It’s easy to see there has been great attention to detail and care put into this site. On top of that, the site is fully responsive, meaning it will work fantastically from your mobile phone, tablet or PC.
Bingo and Slots Games
Velvet recently moved from Cozy Games to Dragonfish software, which means you now get access to more bingo rooms, bigger jackpots (including numerous progressive jackpots) and just a better all-round gaming experience. You can play everything from 30-ball speed bingo to traditional 90 ball bingo games and enjoy the friendly chat in the chat rooms.
There are hundreds of slots to choose from here as well, including all of the classics along with the very latest releases. These games are complemented by a small but essential variety of casino/table games.
