About Gala Arbroath

Gala Bingo Arbroath is located in a grand old hotel, close to the town centre, and near the main train station of the area, but there is no parking available on the club premises.

They have daily Bingo specials, regular promotions, are a very active and social community, and let’s not forget the great prizes on offer every day! The club has a bar and diner serving good value food and beverages, provide disabled facilities and hearing loops, cash machines, a gaming area, and a smoking shelter is available too.

The building itself has a long history, having originally been the Royal Hotel in the mid-19th century, it then took on a new guise as a cinema in the 1930s, until eventually becoming a Bingo hall in the 1970s.

The town is famous for having the world record for the most goals in a professional football match when local team Arbroath FC beat Aberdeen Bon Accord 36-0 in the Scottish Cup in 1885!
