About Gala Middlesbrough

Gala Bingo Middlesbrough is located in a busy retail area, is close to numerous bus routes, and also has 300 car parks available.

The club is a large, comfortable, and purpose-built venue, which prides itself on being a social hub in the area – and the friendly and professional staff really like to celebrate all the popular events on the calendar.

Of course Bingo is the main focus here, and they offer traditional and electronic versions, with plenty of daily specials, promotions, and giveaways – and there’s also the latest fruit machines to keep the entertainment factor going.

The bar and diner offer good value food and beverages throughout the sessions, and there are cash machines, hearing loops, disabled facilities, and a smoking shelter available if required.

The area dates back to 400 AD, with the name Mydilsburgh the earliest recorded form of it. The suburbs still reflect much of its Viking origin with Ormesby, Stainsby, Maltby and Tollesby all villages named after Vikings called Orm, Steinn, Malti and Toll.

The area’s most notable former resident is Captain James Cook – who left southern Middlesbrough to discover the world in the 18th century.
