Welcome Offer

After doing a lot of research into Astro Bingo and Parlay Games, I have come to the conclusion that it may not be the best, nor safest place to play.

Although I enjoyed playing at Astro with my £10 free no deposit bonus, upon further inspection a number of other sites that are set-up in the same way, seem to be slightly less credible. Quite a few of them are unlicensed and unregulated and the fact that the software provider (Parlay Games) would provide software to sites like his is a little bit disturbing, to say the least. Astro themselves are however licensed in Alderney (AGCC) and have recently been licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, so that allays some of my fears with this brand.

If you go on to fund your account you will receive 1000% in bonus cash across your first three deposits, starting with 200% extra on your first deposit.

First Impressions

Upon landing on the homepage, first impressions were mediocre. The site seems reasonably well designed but it did nothing to impress me or make me want to play at the site at all. The homepage features details on the 1000% welcome bonus and the £10 no deposit offer. Aside from that, there are some details about winners, featured games and a little info about them. Nevertheless, I decided to create and account and see what the games were like.

Bonuses and Promotions

Bonuses and promotions are subject to change at any time. Please check the official website to verify their accuracy.

  • £10 Free Bonus No Deposit: Upon registration, you will immediately be credited with £10 free funds to spend on bingo games. No credit card is needed to grab these, on top of that, you don’t even need to verify your account,  which is a little worrying since it would make it super easy for people to create fake accounts all the time.
  • 1000% Welcome Bonus: Previously a £30 new player offer, Astro has upgraded their welcome package to offer 1000% in bonuses over your first 3 deposits. This means you will get 200% added on your first deposit, 250% on your second and a giant 400% bonus on your third deposit.
  • 7 Days Free Spins: With every deposit of £10 or more, you get access to 7 daily free spins of the wheel. Prizes range from £5-£25 in bonus bucks, access to a £25 free cash game and much more.
  • 50% on Reloads: Stay loyal to the site and get 50% extra on all subsequent deposits.

Promotional Codes

When you join Astro (although at this point, I am not sure why you would want to), you automatically are entitled to all of the bonuses and promotions listed above. No code is needed. Registration will automatically entitle you to £10 free bingo money, a 1000% new player bonus package, plus a couple of other additional perks.

Bingo & Slots Games

In total, there are just 4 bingo rooms, of these, when I decided to play only one of them was open, which was a 90 ball game, with a 10p per ticket price tag. Inside there were 18 players but many of them seemed to not be playing, prize pots were very small, in fact, the game I played in had a £3.28 prize pot from 10p per ticket. Other rooms included a 5p room but there was no one in it, a new showball max video bingo room, again with no one in it, and a free room with games scheduled for later that evening. Taking everything into consideration, it’s easy to see that I was far from impressed with the bingo offerings.

When it comes to slots there is a reasonable selection of games, probably 50 or more. However, they won’t be names you recognise because I play a lot of bingo sites and have never seen any of them before. The games themselves seem rather old and pretty boring if I am being honest.

Review Conclusion

Summary

Although Astro Bingo is definitely not the worst site that uses Parlay Games software, the software used has been licensed on some pretty shocking and unrepeatable sites. So the company that runs Astro may not be bad, but at the same time, we make it our priority to send our loyal visitors to the best sites in the industry. A number of sites that use Parlay Games Software have gone rogue, not paid players or are just completely unlicensed and regulated. Because of this, we have decided to not endorse any of these sites whatsoever. It is our opinion that you avoid this site and look for better alternatives out there.
