Skrill has sat in UK bingo cashiers for two decades. We have checked which sites take it and which don’t, because the payment tables in our reviews come from the live sites. The wallet still works at Foxy, Gala, Sun Bingo and William Hill, but it’s vanished from others. Plus, nearly all of them tuck the same line of small print under the welcome offer, so it’s excluded when you claim a bonus. We’d read it before parting with a first deposit to avoid being caught out.

Bingo Sites That Take Skrill

The big brands lead, with the network sites behind them. Every card states the Skrill detail we’d check first, and its button lands on our full review.

The Bonus Small Print

Here’s the line that catches people. At Foxy, Gala, Sun and William Hill, a first deposit made through Skrill doesn’t count towards the welcome offer. The wallet is fine for everything that comes after, but the opening deposit has to arrive by debit card or the bonus simply never appears. Support can’t restore it after the fact either.

The smaller sites play the same tune. Fruity King, Vampire and Monster all steer their welcome towards cards too, so the pattern holds almost everywhere on this page.

Almost. The Jumpman brands, Mirror, Dove and Lights Camera among them, put no payment-method condition on their welcome spin at all. Deposit by Skrill and you’re treated the same as anyone else, which makes them the odd ones out in the nicest way. So the routine we’d suggest is plain. Where the big names are concerned, pay your first deposit by card, collect the bonus, then switch the account over to Skrill for everyday play if that’s your preferred method of depositing.

Skrill’s Own Toolkit

Two features make the wallet a better fit for bingo than it first appears. Rapid Transfer is Skrill’s instant bank top-up. You pay from your own bank through its rails, the money credits straight away, and your banking details stay with your bank rather than being stored anywhere new. It solves the classic wallet problem of having to plan a top-up before you play.

Then there’s the Skrill Prepaid Mastercard, available to UK customers. A digital version arrives the moment you order it, slots into Google Pay or Apple Pay, and spends your wallet balance anywhere Mastercard works. Bingo winnings paid back to Skrill can go on the weekly shop without ever touching your bank account, which is a small thing until you’ve tried it.

The wallet has running costs to respect, mind. Ignore the account for six months with money still in it and a monthly service fee starts nibbling, and currency conversion carries a charge of up to 3.99%. Keep the account in pounds and log in now and again, and you’ll likely never pay Skrill a penny.

Who Doesn’t Take Skrill Any More

This is where the older lists fall over. Ladbrokes now runs its wallet business through Neteller and PayPal, with no Skrill row in the cashier. Coral, its Entain stablemate, has quietly dropped it as well, keeping its cashier to cards, Apple Pay, Paysafecard and PayPal. Betfred keeps things to cards, Apple Pay and bank transfer.

Whole networks sit outside too. The Dragonfish side of Broadway, which covers 888 Ladies, Costa, Sing and their sisters, runs an Apple Pay, PayPal and debit-card cashier whatever the older directories claim. And the Rank stable, Mecca, Kitty and Lucky Pants included, lists PayPal, Apple Pay, Trustly, Paysafecard and debit cards, with Skrill nowhere on it.

One more name deserves an honest mention. Betfair Bingo does list Skrill among its wallets, but no deal exists between us and the brand, so we’ll point it out and leave it at that.

If your wallet loyalty is flexible, our PayPal bingo sites page handles the method every cashier above accepts, and the Neteller bingo sites page walks the sister wallet through the same checks. Whichever you settle on, deposits should always be money you’d happily spend, and BeGambleAware is there free of charge if bingo ever stops feeling like fun.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Skrill at UK bingo sites?

Yes, at some of the biggest. Foxy, Gala, Sun Bingo and William Hill all take Skrill deposits, and the Jumpman network accepts it across its brands. Plenty of sites have dropped it though, so check the cashier before joining.

Why didn't I get the welcome bonus after depositing with Skrill?

Most big bingo brands exclude e-wallet deposits from their welcome offers. If your first deposit went in by Skrill, the bonus won't have triggered and can't be claimed afterwards. Use a debit card for deposit one, then switch to Skrill. All sites have to spell out their terms and conditions, so make sure you read them before funding your account.

Do bingo sites charge for Skrill deposits?

When we last checked, the sites on this page don't. Any costs come from Skrill's side, mainly currency conversion and a monthly service fee on accounts left inactive for six months. That's how they make their money.

Which bingo sites don't accept Skrill?

Of the most popular brands, Ladbrokes, Coral and Betfred, don't, and neither do the Rank brands (Mecca, Kitty, Lucky Pants, etc) nor do Broadway's Dragonfish family (888 Ladies, Costa, Sing Bingo). That's not an exhaustive list but it covers the main candidates.
