About Mecca South Shields
Mecca Bingo South Shields is located in the old Regent Cinema, which has been converted but the 1930s style still remains.
The club seats 1,200, and there is parking for 40 cars, disabled access and facilities, and hearing loops, as well as two bars and a café serving good value food and beverages throughout the sessions.
They have traditional and electronic Bingo, with daily specials, regular promotions, and plenty of great prizes on offer every day.
The area is a popular tourist destination for its coastal location, as well as being the site of Arbeia, a large Roman fort dating back to 120AD. It was first excavated in the 1870s, and has since had some parts of it reconstructed so you really get a sense of its history.
