Chit Chat Bingo has been through three bingo platforms in sixteen years, and you can still see the joins. It opened on Dragonfish in 2010, spent its most recent life as a Grace Media site running Pragmatic Play, and it’s now a ProgressPlay brand running Playtech’s Virtue Fusion bingo. Same name, same logo, third set of rooms.

Welcome Offer

The current offer is a 200% games bonus worth up to £40, and the headline hides a bit of arithmetic. The banner asks for £10. But 200% of £10 is £20, so a tenner buys you half the advertised bonus. To collect the full £40 you need to pay in twenty.

It’s a games bonus rather than a bingo bonus, so it can be spent across the mini games as well as the rooms. No code needed. It lands once, on your first deposit.

There are a couple of ways to trip over it. Two of the ten deposit options, Skrill and Neteller, are barred from bonuses right across the network, so funding your first deposit through either buys you the deposit and none of the £40. The other trap is structural. Bingo and casino run separate cashiers here, each with its own 200% welcome, and the operator spells out the consequence in one of its reload offers: the terms say the player must deposit using the bingo cashier only. Pay in on the wrong side of the site and the bingo bonus never appears.

It also doesn’t offer a no deposit bonus. And if you remember Chit Chat as a £5 site, that was the Grace Media version. The entry price is £ 10 now.

Bonus Wagering

The bonus carries 10x wagering, which sounds modest until you do the sum on a full £40. That’s £400 to put through the bingo rooms and mini games within 30 days before any of it becomes money you can withdraw.

Then there’s the conversion cap. However much you win from the bonus, it only converts to cash once, so £40 in means £40 out at best, and the rest is swept away if you win more. Both the bonus and its winnings expire after 30 days, and requesting a withdrawal while a bonus is live voids it, along with anything queued behind it.

First Impressions

The purple is the same, the script logo is the same, and the artwork is the same flat stock illustration you’ll find across half the network. Chit Chat has been rebuilt twice now and somehow always lands on interchangeable people cheering at oversized bingo balls.

The build underneath is a clear step up on the last one. The lobby opens into six named rooms rather than a wall of recoloured pastel tiles, the promotions page carries real prize pools instead of vague blurbs, and a toggle in the header splits the site cleanly into bingo and casino sides.

One oddity sits right on the homepage. The payment strip opens with Credit Cards, which UK players can’t use for gambling at all, and the site’s own deposit page says exactly that two clicks later.

Three Platforms in Sixteen Years

Chit Chat opened in 2010 on Dragonfish, the platform that ran most of the chatty, community-first bingo brands of that era. It went quiet, came back under Grace Media with Pragmatic Play supplying the bingo, and by the time we sat down with it in August 2026 it had moved again, onto ProgressPlay with Playtech’s Virtue Fusion behind the rooms. The site’s own About page has quietly written the first sixteen years out of the story. It says ChitChatBingo was founded in 2026. That’s the new operator’s boilerplate rather than the brand’s history, and it’s a neat illustration of how these handovers work. The name gets bought, the platform gets swapped, and the back story starts again from zero.

It matters for one practical reason. Most of what’s written about Chit Chat elsewhere online still describes an earlier version of the site, with bonuses, rooms, phone numbers and payment methods that stopped being true two owners ago. Chit Chat Bingo Rooms and Slots

The room list is where the Playtech move earns its keep. Deal or No Deal Bingo 75 and 90, Fluffy Favourites Bingo, Rainbow Riches Bingo, Clover Rollover, Bouncy Balls, Bingo Bonanza, Powerball 80, Pub Quiz Bingo, Fish and Chips Frenzy, Lucky Lane, the Daily Big One and a Monthly Extravaganza all sit in the lobby. That’s a far stronger set of licensed rooms than this site had a year ago, and the same engine that runs the bingo at Virtue Fusion bingo sites like Mecca and Buzz.

None of them belong to Chit Chat, though. Virtue Fusion pools its rooms across every site running the software, so the jackpot you’re playing for and the people you’re playing against are drawn from the whole platform, not from this brand’s own membership. For a site this size that’s the right trade. Nothing here is exclusive, but nothing here is empty either.

Two rules from the terms are worth knowing before you buy tickets. A game won’t open until three players have registered for it, and where more than one ticket wins the same prize, the prize splits equally between them rather than paying out in full to each.

The lobby also carries free bingo and free multiplayer games you can play with friends, on a site that already drops tickets to a penny on a Thursday.

Away from the bingo, the casino draws from several suppliers rather than one. Deposits and Withdrawals

The banking menu is unusually long for a bingo site. The following methods are accepted at chitchatbingo.com:

That 15% deserves a second look. A tenner topped up by phone bill reaches your balance as £8.50, and the same route can’t pay you back out again. Credit cards are off the table, as they are at every UK site.

Cashouts take a business day to process, whichever route you pick, and after that the wait depends on the route. Instant bank transfers, Neteller and Skrill turn round the next day. Paysafecard, Payz, and Apple Pay take about three days. Debit cards and PayPal are the slow pair, three to seven business days.

Two things sting. Every cashout is docked 1%, up to £3 a time, so taking out £300 costs you three quid for the privilege, and most UK bingo sites charge nothing at all. And Mastercard can’t receive payouts. Operators have to declare what becomes of your balance if the company fails, and ProgressPlay declares the weakest of the available levels, the one the Commission labels not protected. Deposits do go into their own account rather than the trading one, as the rules require, but nothing stands behind them in an insolvency. It’s disclosed rather than buried, and it reads the same on every brand under the licence.

Help is live chat, running all day and all night, or email if it can wait. There is no number to ring anywhere on the site. Complaints get their own address and an eight-week clock, after which eCOGRA will take a look free of charge.

Self-exclusion is the part to pay attention to here, because it doesn’t stop at Chit Chat. Shut yourself out for anything from six months to five years and the block lands across every site on account 39335, which is a large stable to be locked out of at once.

One for occasional players. Twelve months without logging in turns the account dormant, and a £5 monthly admin fee then starts eating the balance. Thirty days’ warning arrives before the first one comes off.

Chit Chat Bingo Sister Sites

Chit Chat Bingo sister sites now sit under the ProgressPlay umbrella, and nothing it used to belong to. The Gambling Commission’s register lists every domain running under account 39335, and it’s a long roll call. The ones we’ve reviewed are Queen’s Bingo, Vampire Bingo, Monster Casino and Fruity King. Step between any of them and the branding changes while the rooms, the cashier, the 1% fee and the bonus rules stay put, because all four are set at network level.

Two former lives are worth keeping separate. Under Grace Media the stablemates were Panda Bingo and BOGOF Bingo. In the Dragonfish decade before that it sat alongside Costa Bingo and 888 Ladies. Neither group has anything to do with Chit Chat today, whatever older sister-site lists still say.
