First Impressions
Although it isn’t designed like your typical bingo site, Hippo Bingo has a fun, friendly feel. The colours are bright and vibrant, and navigating the site is easy.
The homepage has had a safari makeover since our last visit. The star of the hero art is a pith-helmeted explorer scanning the waterhole, tablet in hand, and on our August 2026 visit we couldn’t find an actual hippo anywhere near him. Beneath the explorer, the page gets down to business, with the GO100 code printed in a ticket-style box and a Popular Slots grid doing most of the talking.
The site also accentuates its wide selection of slot games on the homepage, including top games like 15 Golden Pharaohs, Caishen’s Cash Pots and The Dog House Megaways 1000. As soon as we see these offerings, we know the site runs on Dragonfish software. Dozens of sites use the same software (and it’s among the best in the industry).
Welcome Offer
Relax and chill by the proverbial pool at Hippo Bingo and claim a 100% bingo bonus worth up to £50 when you fund your account with at least £10, entering the code GO100 as you pay. Not only that, but you will get access to a wide range of 1p bingo games and daily jackpots.
Where most of this network triples a tenner and stops at £30, Hippo matches whatever you deposit, pound for pound, until the bonus reaches £50. The £20-plus-spins bundle our earlier review covered was retired when the network swept out its old welcome deals, and no free spins survive anywhere in the current one.
Bonus Wagering
2x bingo wagering applies to the bonus. Claim the maximum, and £100 of ticket play clears it; a £10 deposit leaves a £20 bonus needing £40 played through. The 35x free-spins figure and the £100 conversion cap in our old review belong to an offer that no longer exists.
Your own cash is spent before bonus money enters a game, and whatever the bonus wins stays in the bonus balance until the wagering is finished. Watch the calendar too. Bonuses here run out after five days; letting five days pass without a visit loses them the same way, and cashing out mid-bonus surrenders anything that hasn’t converted.
Promotion Codes
Our old advice on this page was that you didn’t need a promotion code. That’s flipped. The GO100 promo code is now required for the welcome bonus, typed in alongside that opening payment, and the claim goes through the Offers tab rather than a plain top-up.

What’s advertised in 2026 is the welcome deal and not much else. To be honest, it’s pretty bare.

The shelf has its own personality, too. The games page describes the range in its own words as new slots and instant-win games added every month, with Slingo and Megaways as the branded headliners, and roulette no longer gets a mention anywhere in the pitch.

There is no need to download an app, just head over to the homepage on your mobile device, log in and start playing. The site works the same in the browser on iPhones and Android smartphones, and that’s where it ends, because no Hippo Bingo app exists in either store.
A word of warning while you’re searching. The App Store result called Bingo Master – Hippo Bingo isn’t this site at all. It’s an unrelated game that happens to share the name, so don’t download it expecting your Hippo account to work there, and don’t judge the bingo site by that app’s reviews either.

Creating your Hippo Bingo account won’t take long; you can be signed in and ready to play in 5 minutes or less. All you need to do is click on the ‘Join Now’ button from the homepage and then fill in the short form with your details as well as tick the box to confirm you are over 18 and accept both the T&Cs and the privacy policy. Once complete, you can sign in instantly with the username and password you created.

£10 is now the figure at both ends, deposit and withdrawal alike, up from the £5 our earlier review quoted. PayPal takes a 10p fee per transaction; cards and Apple Pay are free. Withdrawals typically take 4 to 7 working days to arrive via debit card, although wire transfers can be slightly slower, and PayPal tends to arrive a day or two sooner. Licensing and Regulation
Hippo Bingo is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission (UKGC). The licence, account number 58267, belongs to Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, an Irish operator, not Broadway Gaming Limited, which our earlier review named and is a separate company with a different licence.
As you would expect from a respectable bingo site, responsible gambling is strongly encouraged. This is evident from the safe gambling slogans around the site as well as the site’s multiple partnerships with the likes of GamCare, GamStop and the Gambling Therapy hotline.
One thing you won’t find much of is outside opinion. Hippo has attracted just two public reviews in its lifetime, the newer of them written in 2024, so there’s essentially no player commentary out there to weigh up.
