Lucky Charm Bingo Review

See if luck will be on your side as you head over to Lucky Charm Bingo to play some great games. This site has been really well-designed, and the Dragonfish software that it uses works very well.

It also has two near namesakes that catch people out, one on the same licence with a very different welcome deal and one that has since closed. If you are interested in playing at this fun site, then make sure you keep on reading to learn about everything there is to offer.

Lucky Charm Bingo Facts

First Impressions

The site is easy on the eyes thanks to the relaxing cloud background, and the simple navigation menu makes it easy to find the games you want. The homepage is mostly devoted to advertising the welcome bonus, but you will also spot some of the different games that are available to try.

The charms themselves are a funny little set. Floating in that sunlit sky are a green leprechaun’s top hat with a gold buckle, a pink gem and a yellow bingo ball tied to a string like a balloon, showing number 35. We looked for a four-leaf clover or a horseshoe and didn’t find one.

It is worth noting that the full lobby isn’t available to view until you have registered an account, so it’s worth signing up to see everything that is on offer.

Lucky Charm, Lucky Pence or Charming Bingo?

Three names built on luck and charms, and only one of them is this site.

Lucky Pence sits on the same Broadway licence and the same software, but it runs a different welcome deal, which we compare below.

Charming Bingo is the other mix-up. It ran on Jumpman software rather than Dragonfish, offered Mega Reel spins rather than a deposit match, and has since closed, so any Charming Bingo offer you see quoted is out of date.

Welcome Offer

Your first deposit is matched pound for pound in bingo bonus money, to a ceiling of £50. The minimum is £10, and the code is GO100, entered when you deposit from the Offers tab. So a tenner earns a tenner, and the full £50 is credited with any deposit of £50 or more.

You can’t spend the bonus on slots, and it sits untouched until your cash balance runs out. It replaces the £20, spins and wheel deal our old review described, which has been withdrawn. Make sure you read the terms and conditions before you take part so you know everything there is to know about this welcome offer.

So how does it compare with sister site Lucky Pence? That one hands a £10 depositor £20 of bonus with the code WELCOME20, but asks for 4x wagering, so the bonus needs £80 of tickets. Put in £10, and Lucky Pence gives you more to play with. Put in more than £20, and Lucky Charm does, with far less play needed to release it.

Bingo and Slots Games

There are plenty of games available for you to take part in at the Lucky Charm Bingo. Whether you prefer bingo, mini-games or slots there is something for you.

When it comes to bingo, you can choose from 90-ball and even 75-ball games. The one room with its rules published in full is Mystery Jackpots. A game starts every six minutes or so from 9am until 11pm, 51 of them a day, with 5p and 10p tickets and a limit of 96 cards per player per game. Nobody knows the full house prize, somewhere between £10 and £500, until it’s announced ten seconds before the start, and the ticket window shuts at that point. Two winners on the same call split it.

Searches for a Lucky Charm Bingo casino lead back to the same account. There’s no separate casino site, and the slots and instant games sit inside the same client as the bingo. The homepage promises new slots and instant-win games every month, with Slingo and Megaways titles among them. We couldn’t see the individual game tiles without an account, so we’ve left out the old list of named slots rather than repeat titles we can’t confirm.

Bonus Wagering

The wagering on the GO100 bonus is 2x. Deposit £25 and the £25 bonus needs £50 of bingo tickets bought with it before its winnings move across to your cash balance. The same GO100 code and the same 2x run at Tasty Bingo and Hippo Bingo, while the WELCOME30 and WELCOME50 sites on this licence ask for 4x.

There are two clocks. Each bonus runs out on day five, and five days without logging in wipes any unconverted bonus and its winnings. A withdrawal before the 2x is done also forfeits what’s left of the bonus. The 35x spins wagering and £100 cap in our previous version belonged to the retired offer.

Bonuses and Promotions

The site’s promotions feed listed two things when we looked, a Monday reload and the Mystery Jackpots room. Everything on our old page (Star Rewards and its Superstar Wheel, the Prize Room draw on the 16th, Pennies Make Pounds and the Big £10K) has gone, and the public Promotions tab doesn’t load, so the offers area inside the client is the place to see what’s running.

• Happy Hour – Mondays from 4pm to 6pm. The code HOUR matches deposits of £10 or more pound for pound, to a maximum of £100 in bingo bonus, at 2x wagering, and loyalty points count double in the chat games during those two hours. Northern Ireland players are excluded from this one. When we checked Spectra Bingo, a sister on the same licence, HOUR was no longer working there, so check the code is accepted in the cashier before you count on it.
• Mystery Jackpots – The surprise full house room described in the games section.

Signup and Login

The registration link sits prominently on the homepage and takes you straight to the short registration form where you can sign up, log in and be ready to play in 5 minutes or less. The registration form is pretty standard, asking for your basic details, for you to choose a username and password and to confirm that you are both over 18 and agree to all of the T&CS. You will also be asked to choose your marketing preferences although these can be changed at any time. Once you have created your account you will be free to log in and explore the full site.

The Lucky Charm Bingo login is the second of the two header buttons, and it opens the same client on phone, tablet and desktop. Verification can come later. The help centre lists photo ID alongside a landline, gas, electricity or water bill, or a government letter, dated within the last three months. Larger accounts can also be asked for source of funds paperwork, which means financial documents showing where your money comes from.

Deposit Options

• Apple Pay
• PayPal
• Visa Debit
• Mastercard Debit

Our old review put the minimums at £5. Both are now £10, in and out. Each PayPal transaction carries a 10p fee, and the card or wallet must be registered to you. Wire transfer no longer belongs in the deposit list. It only appears on the way out, for paying any balance that’s grown beyond what you’ve put in.

Allow 4-7 working days for a Lucky Charm Bingo withdrawal to land on a card or in Apple Pay, going by the terms. PayPal is quoted at 4-5 and wire transfers at 7-10.

Mobile App

Our old review said Lucky Charm had its own app. It doesn’t. We searched the App Store and Google Play and found nothing under the name, and the site links to neither store. You can of course access the site through the browser on your mobile, and the help centre suggests Chrome as the browser it has tested most thoroughly.

Licensing and Regulation

Lucky Charm Bingo is fully regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) in Great Britain via their licence number 58267.

The site is now part of the Broadway Gaming Group. The holding company was incorporated in Ireland as Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited and runs from an office on Dublin’s Hanover Quay, and luckycharmbingo.com appears as Active in the Commission’s list of its domains. It is also reassuring to see that the site promotes various responsible gambling messages and has partnerships with safe gambling organisations such as GamStop and GamCare.

Every help article we read signs off by pointing you to a 24/7 live chat, and the Help tab opens a searchable set of articles on payments, verification and the safer gambling tools. They mention email as an option too, but none of them gives an address, so live chat is the best route.

Sister Sites

Lucky Charm’s closest relatives, all on Broadway’s 58267 licence:

• Moon Bingo
• Ted Bingo
• Tasty Bingo
• Hippo Bingo
• Lucky Pence Bingo

Every one of them runs under licence 58267, and we cover the rest of that family in our round-up of Broadway Gaming bingo sites.
