She’s easily the best thing on the site (which might not be a great endorsement), and she’s guarding a £30 welcome bonus, a grid of 500 games and dare we say, not much else.

The Granny on the Scooter

Credit where it’s due. While every other bingo brand hires a woman in her thirties to laugh at a phone, Loony went with a grey-haired biker gran pulling a face that fully earns the name over the door. The welcome copy calls its players “our wacky bingo bunch”, and for one glorious banner the site lives up to it.

Scroll past her and the wackiness runs out fast. The public homepage is a pitch for the welcome offer and little more. A join-deposit-enjoy strip, the game grid, a block of welcome text and the footer. There’s no menu to browse, no promotions page to read, and nothing to look at that isn’t asking you to register. Loony used to be a busier site than this, which we’ll come back to.

Loony Bingo Welcome Bonus

Put in £10 as a new player with the promo code WELCOME30 and Loony adds £30 of bingo bonus, a 300% match capped at that £30. To claim, go to the Offers tab after you register; the deal has its own deposit button.

The bonus is bingo money, for spending on tickets, not slots. The same deal once arrived with 40 free spins on Fluffy Favourites and Enchanted Prince attached, and those have since been dropped, so anywhere still promising you spins at Loony is describing a bonus that no longer exists.

The 4x Wagering Rules

The bonus carries 4x wagering requirements, so the full £30 needs £120 of bingo tickets put through it before it converts. That sits well under the 10x cap UK rules now allow, and on bingo it’s an evening or two of ordinary play rather than a mountain.

The small print does more work than the multiplier. Your own cash is always spent first, winnings from bonus tickets land back in the bonus balance, and the whole thing lapses five days after it’s credited. Withdrawing your cash wipes whatever bonus is still sitting there, and staying logged out for five days wipes it too. None of that is unusual on this network, but the five-day pace is quick, so claim it when you actually plan to play.

WELCOME30 is the only live Loony Bingo promo code. It’s single-use, first-deposit only, entered at the Offers tab deposit step, and there’s nothing for existing players to enter after that.

Two things to know before you go code-hunting. Our old version of this page said the team texted and emailed bonus codes to opted-in players through the month, and we’ve seen nothing to suggest that still happens. And the code isn’t even particular to Loony, because sister sites Lippy Bingo and Glitter Bingo run the identical £30 offer on the identical code. It’s a network bonus wearing a scooter helmet!

Free Bingo at Loony

Here’s the surprise. Loony’s homepage still advertises “3 whole days” of free bingo for newbies, no deposit needed, with the full set of free rooms opening up once you’ve deposited. Of the Dragonfish sites we’ve re-reviewed this year, this is the only homepage still making that offer out loud, long after the likes of Moon retired their newbie freebies.

From what we can tell, the offer has been revoked, and free bingo rooms are for funded players only.

Treat it as advertised rather than guaranteed, since the welcome-offer terms don’t mention the trial at all. The funded free rooms are real enough, shared across the network’s schedule, and typically ask for a deposit within the last couple of weeks before they’ll let you in.

Bingo Rooms and Slot Games

The bingo is 90-ball and 75-ball across the usual timetable, with jackpot games pitched daily, weekly and monthly. Tickets start at pennies. If you’ve played any of Loony’s sisters, you already know these rooms, because the schedule belongs to the platform rather than the brand.

The slot grid claims 500 slots and games, which is a smaller number than the 600-plus this site once claimed. The front rows open on Big Bass Bonanza and barely let go, with Big Bass Splash, Bigger Bass Bonanza and Big Bass Amazon Xtreme all seated in the first three rows. Fire and Roses Joker, Buffalo King Megaways and Gold Blitz fill out the rows beneath, 9 Masks of Fire smoulders alongside, and Temple of Iris and Shaman’s Dream carry on for the old guard. Scratch cards and casino games get a mention in the welcome copy, but slots are plainly where the money went.

By our count, the homepage asks you to join three times before you reach the first game tile, so the JOIN NOW button won’t be hard to find. The form behind it is the standard short one. Name, date of birth, contact details and address, then a username and password, and you’re in inside a few minutes.

That username and password become your Loony Bingo login at loonybingo.com, and they work unchanged on the mobile site. Remember the five-day rule from the wagering section if you’re carrying bonus money.

Is There a Loony Bingo App?

No. We checked both app stores in August 2026, and neither carries a Loony Bingo app, so the iPhone and iPad app mentioned in our older review is gone. The site is upfront about this in its own quiet way, with a “No Download Required” badge sitting in the footer.

Playing on a phone means the mobile site in your browser, which handles rooms, slots and banking without complaint. Bookmark it, and you’ve lost nothing an app would have given you.

Deposits and Withdrawals

The footer’s payment strip shows Apple Pay, Visa, PayPal and Mastercard, and for once a footer tells the whole truth, because those four are the entire cashier. No Paysafecard, no paying by phone bill, no Skrill or Neteller. Deposits and withdrawals both start at £10, and PayPal is the only method with a fee attached, at 10p a transaction. Our old page said £5 withdrawals and no fees anywhere, and both of those are out of date, the network minimum has changed to £10 and the small 10p transaction fee for PayPal is new.

Money leaves by the same route it arrived, with anything beyond your total deposits paid out by bank transfer instead. Card and Apple Pay withdrawals are quoted at four to seven working days, with PayPal a touch quicker at four to five.

Nobody would call that withdrawal speed fast, and it’s the same wait across the whole network.

Who Runs Loony Bingo?

The footer names the operator plainly. Loony belongs to Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, a Dublin company holding UK Gambling Commission account 58267, with a “powered by Dragonfish” badge underneath. The copyright line reads 2010, but that’s the group’s timeline rather than this brand’s, since Loony itself arrived in 2015.
