Bonus Wagering

Wagering on the welcome offer is set at 10x the bonus amount, which is the legal maximum in the UK rather than anything unusual. If you do make a withdrawal before satisfying these wagering requirements, you will forfeit all remaining bonus funds.

Here is where the small bonus quietly works in your favour. Take the full £50, and 10x turns to turn it into £500 of bonus turnover to clear. At a site handing out £200, the same rule means £2,000. The task in front of you here is a quarter the size. It’s still the percentage wagering, but lower bonuses have lower total amounts.

First Impressions

Rocket Bingo has recently been redesigned and now features several small planets and shooting stars on a white-and-dark-blue background. This gives the site a much more professional look than the previous cartoon-like design, and it’s also much easier to use thanks to its simple navigation bars.

The hero image deserves a mention. It is a woman on her sofa, phone in hand, wearing what is unmistakably a cardboard cut-out astronaut helmet. Nobody involved was taking the space theme too seriously, and the site is better for it.

Creating an account and getting registered takes just a few seconds. All you need to do is fill out the registration form with a few personal details, click join and then off you go.

Twelve Years In, and Still Standing

Our old review called this an up-and-coming site on a new network. Rocket Bingo has since answered that itself, and rather well. Their homepage now reads “In 2014, we were the new kids on the block” before conceding that today “we’re essentially veterans”. Twelve years is a long time in this market, and it’s the second or third time we’ve been back!

The copy is hard evidence, though. Several brands that shared this network have since shut their doors. Spice Bingo, Lollipop Bingo, Dear Bingo and Bingo Spirit have all gone, and players who once had accounts with them still turn up searching for Rocket Bingo as the nearest thing left standing.

The site also runs a members counter on the homepage, which stood at 17,534 on the day this review was written. Take it with a pinch of salt as a marketing device, but it is at least a number, and it is not one its rivals bother to publish.

None of that makes the games better. It does mean that if you open an account here, the odds of the site still being there next year are rather stronger than they were for four of its stablemates.

Bingo and Slots Games

Rocket Bingo features 90-ball and 75-ball bingo, plus quick 30-ball games, all played in the Zoom Room. There aren’t many rooms, but the ones that do exist are busy, thriving, and a great deal of fun to play in. Prize pots are fairly decent overall, so there is not much to complain about.

Bingo also gets proper billing on the homepage, sitting in its own row above the featured games with an All Bingo Games button next to it. That reads as a small thing until you compare it with the sisters, several of which park their bingo tab at the far end of the menu and lead on slots throughout.

Fancy a free game? Just head over to the Rocket Freebies tab in the lobby, and you will find free bingo games for funded players. Ticket prices start from as little as 1p per ticket and go up to £1 if you want to really push the boat out.

The site has a great selection of slots and has secured many of the same games that appear on Dragonfish sites, like Fluffy Favourites, Sugar Train, and Irish Luck. So if you are familiar with that network, many of the slot games will also feel familiar.

There is a little casino here as well, though it is not a wing so much as a shelf. A roulette table sits in among the featured games rather than behind a tab of its own.
