About Gala Dover
Like many bingo halls across Kent, Gala Bingo Dover is located in a refurbished old theatre. The room has been rebuilt to a good standard and allows you to play bingo games every day at either 1:30 PM or 7:30 PM. On some occasions, the bingo hall also generously offers some free bingo games with fantastic real cash prizes.
Originally opened in 1911, Gala Dover has a very rich history. The original theatre was open from 1911 until 1937, however, a fire destroyed the venue and it was later rebuilt over two years later. In 1960 the hall was converted for bingo use and was originally called “Zeters Bingo Club”, Gala later claimed ownership and renamed it to its now current name.
The bingo hall itself features a bar, a diner, disabled facilities, a cash machine, plenty of slots games and a hearing loop. Oh yeah, they also offer a few bingo games I hear! Fans of electronic bingo will also be able to access it.
Aside from bingo, Dover offers many other great attractions. Most notably known as the main crossing point from England to France, there are also other great things to do such as visit Dover Castle, or visit the Secret Wartime Tunnels. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you pop back to Gala Bingo and try your luck with a game, or two!
