About Gala Andover
Mecca Bingo Andover is in the centre of town, close to local bus routes, has seating for 250, disabled access and facilities, free ATMS, and a licensed bar.
The club is situated in an old cinema called The Palace, which was opened in 1926, and has had many facelifts and owners over the years, but has now been completely converted into a Bingo hall.
Andover itself has a long history, first being recorded in 950 CE when a Saxon ‘parliament’ was held at King Edred’s royal hunting lodge in the area.
By the time of the Domesday Book (1086), the village was positively booming with six watermills, and a population of around 500 – large compared to others!
