About Mecca Stevenage
Mecca Bingo Stevenage is a large and modern venue located in the heart of the town, with plenty of major bus routes serving the area, and parking available nearby.
The club has seating for 1,000 players, there is a choice of traditional Bingo or electronic terminals, and there are daily specials, regular promotions, and plenty of prizes up for grabs.
The club is a social one and has an active Facebook page to keep you up to date with all you need to know. There’s also a bar and cafe serving good value food and beverages, and disabled facilities if required.
The venue has a colourful history, having been the Locarno Dance Hall. It was a popular venue in the 1960s and 1970s for dancing and live music, with some major stars of the time performing there, including The Who, The Kinks, Tom Jones, and Stevie Wonder.
