Slingo Starburst
Quick verdict

Ten spins at 96.66% are where Slingo Starburst gives most back. Extra spins drop to 95.47%. Our eight cost €1.01 and ended in a €0.28 orange-gem Win Spin.

Slingo Starburst prints two RTPs in its help pages. It is 96.66% for the ten spins you start with, and 95.47% for each extra spin you buy after that. Most of our money went in at the lower rate. Ten base spins left us short of three Slingos; eight extra spins cost €1.01, and the last, priced at €0.30, was half as much as the €0.20 stake. It missed all four. We finished on an orange-gem Win Spin worth €0.28, not ideal, but it’s typical.

Four Slingos on the board, with 23, 37, 43 and 51 still open. The final extra spin cost €0.30, with €0.91 already staked.

Slingo Starburst RTP & Spin Prices

Both figures assume best strategy with your Wilds. Of the Gaming Realms demos on our hub, only Slingo Super Spin shows a higher base number, while the Gaming Realms website lists it slightly lower at 96.5%.

Extra spins have their own rules. The game offers them only when a Win Spin is reachable on the very next spin. When you buy them, Free Spin symbols and the respinning Starburst Wilds come off the reels. Each price is also rounded to a whole value, a step the help pages admit can shift the RTP, particularly at small stakes.

Our prices followed the board. The button read €0.07 for the first extra spin and €0.10 to €0.11 a few spins later. At €0.77 staked, with 23, 24, 37, 43 and 51 between us and the full house, it read €0.14 and flashed “You could unlock” over the Starburst Wild Win Spin. Once we reached four Slingos, it more than doubled.

Slingo Starburst showing You Could Unlock over the full house Win Spin at €0.14 a spin
Three Slingos and five numbers from a full house. The game teased the Starburst Wild Win Spin and asked €0.14 for the next go.

The help pages also describe an Extra Spin Wheel that can follow a game, awarding a spin or ending things there, with its winning slice shrinking after each success and five spins at most. It never turned up for us. Play Controls carries the same limits as Slingo Classic, including 0 to 8 extra spins; we capped ours at 8.

Slingo Starburst Payout Table

Only one and two Slingos move you up the ladder. From three Slingos, every rung is a Win Spin on the Starburst slot tied to one symbol, and the slot pays in multiples of the line bet, which is your stake split across 10 lines (€0.02 at the demo’s €0.20).

Nine and ten Slingos reuse the red 7 and the BAR, swapping “guaranteed” for “enhanced”, and nothing in the help explains how much more an enhanced win is. The full house sends you to a Win Spin built on the Starburst Wild itself, without a line value for it anywhere in the paytable.

Slingo Starburst Slot Win Spins

A rung doesn’t pay on the spot. When our extra spins ran out, the screen changed to a five-reel Starburst slot and sat on a Start Bonus button until we pressed it. Each Win Spin pays, but only with its chosen symbol, from three of a kind on a single line to five of a kind across all 10. Lines pay left to right and right to left, and you keep the higher win. Starburst Wilds land on reels 2, 3, and 4, expand over the reel, and hold for a re-spin, up to three times.

Our orange-gem spin paid €0.14 on line 6 for three gems, which is the x7 line pay on a €0.02 line bet, and €0.28 in total. After “Bonus Complete” and a results panel, the game reset to a fresh grid showing a last win of €0.28.

Starburst Wilds on the Slingo Reels

The grid and reels work as they do in every Slingo, so only this changes. The Starburst Wild does two jobs on the Slingo reels. It marks a number of your choice from the column directly above, then stays put while the other four reels spin again. Ordinary Wilds just mark a number in their own column, Super Wilds can mark any square, and each Free Spin symbol adds one spin.

Purple gems pay an instant prize when three or more show on the reel strip at once: 0.5x for three, 1x for four, and 2.5x for five. We didn’t see one pay out in our round. The X-shaped Blocker is the oddity, since its help card says plainly that it does nothing.
