Slingo Sweet Bonanza
Quick verdict

Past seven Slingos every rung swaps cash for Bomb Bonus picks, each bomb multiplying your stake. A lollipop hunt at the end decides whether you pick again.

Our Gameplay Experience

The second bomb we picked turned over x25, and the game threw SUPERB! across the screen. The bomb just to its left had been hiding x4. On a €0.20 stake, that x25 added €5 to the €1 from our first pick, an x5, while the other two bombs on that board held x15 and x20. Slingo Sweet Bonanza pays cash only as far as seven Slingos. Every rung above that opens these bombs instead.

Second pick: x25, worth €5 on our €0.20 stake. The bombs we passed over held x15, x4 and x20.

Bombs, Lollipops and Bonus Multipliers

There are two ways to enter the Bomb Bonus. One is reaching eight or more Slingos on the ladder. The other is three or more Bonus symbols in view on the reel at once, and the help pages give those counts the same prizes as the 8-Slingo, 10-Slingo and full-house rungs. Three symbols bring 2 picks, four bring 4 picks with all bombs x2, and five bring 4 picks with all bombs x4. Single Bonus symbols turned up on the first and fifth spins of one of our rounds, but we never saw three together.

Each bomb multiplies your stake, and ours paid exactly that, with a fresh row of four bombs dealt for every pick. When the picks run out, a second screen asks you to find a lollipop under one of four tiles, and the help says finding lollipops adds more cash picks. We tapped an X. The lollipop was in the tile beside it, the game told us Better Luck Next Time, and the bonus closed on €6.

Find to Continue after our two picks. The first tile hid an X, the lollipop sat in the second, and the bonus stayed on €6.

At ten Slingos a banner reading All Bombs Multiplied By: X2 sits over four picks. In a separate round an x5 bomb there added €2, twice what the same bomb paid us at eight. That bonus had reached €11.20 and still had picks to come, and we didn’t see its final total.

This is the ladder exactly as the demo prints it beside the grid, with the stake left on €0.20. The help doesn’t list bomb values, so the bonus rungs show picks rather than prizes.

Three Slingos hand back the stake and seven pays 25 times it, putting this game between Slingo Rainbow Riches, with no cash rungs at all, and Slingo Classic. The rungs don’t add up as you climb, either. We’d been holding €0.80 for five Slingos before the spin that took us to eight, and the results screen afterwards listed only the bonus.

Sweet Bonanza Slingo Wilds and Blockers

The grid is 25 heart tiles numbered from 1 to 75, with five candy reels underneath, and a game gives you 10 spins, whereas Slingo Classic gives 11. After you tap Start Game, the demo spins on its own, stopping only when a Wild tile or a Super Wild needs placing. A Wild lights the markable numbers in its own column green, while a Super Wild opens up the whole grid.

The X on the reels is the blocker, and the help describes it in four words. Blocker symbols do nothing. A Free Spin symbol adds a spin to the base game, but the reels drop that symbol when you pay for extra spins. Our Slingo Sweet Bonanza demo starts with a €1,000 balance of pretend euros and runs as a free game straight from the page, with nothing to download.

Buying Our Way to the Bomb Bonus

Our ten base spins left us on one Slingo. We then bought eight extra spins at €0.04, €0.04, €0.08, €0.23, €0.23, €1.17, €1.17 and €4.69, each priced, as the help puts it, on grid position and potential prizes. The €4.69 one lifted us from five Slingos to eight, and the End Game bar under the grid became a Collect bar with a rainbow bomb and Picks 2 on it.

Board on 8 Slingos. Collect a two-pick Bomb Bonus, or pay €10.61 for a spin that needs 6 and 23 for the full house.

The spin button beside it now wanted €10.61, with 6 and 23 needed for a full house and four x4 picks. That’s more than 50 times the stake, and the highest Max Extra Spin Price in Play Controls is x25. We collected. Across the round, we staked €7.85 on a €0.20 game, the bonus paid €6, and the balance finished €1.85 down at €998.15.

Another round held out for ten Slingos. The x2 Collect bar arrived with €35.46 already staked and the full house one number away, at €9.12 a spin.

Slingo Sweet Bonanza RTP

The help lists a theoretical RTP of 96.45% for the base game and 95.08% for each extra spin, both assuming best strategy. That’s 1.37 points lower once you start paying for spins. The help also warns that rounding extra-spin prices to the nearest whole value may affect the RTP. Gaming Realms lists it at 96% with High volatility on its own site, where the max multiplier field is empty, and says the Sweet Bonanza brand is licensed from Pragmatic Play.
