The History: Closed in 2021
Smooth Bingo, the bingo site carrying the Smooth name, closed in autumn 2021. It ran on Gamesys software alongside sites such as Heart Bingo, and the archive last caught it working on 28 July 2021. Searching for Smooth Bingo now usually lands you on Smooth Spins, a casino that uses the same Smooth name but is run by a different company.
| Detail | Smooth Bingo | Smooth Spins |
|---|---|---|
| Status: | Closed since autumn 2021 | Open |
| Run by: | Gamesys | BV Gaming Limited (account 39576) |
| Address: | smoothbingo.co.uk (now forwards to Smooth Spins) | smoothspins.co.uk |
How Smooth Bingo Closed
The archive’s capture of smoothbingo.co.uk on 28 July 2021 shows a working Smooth Bingo site with Gamesys copyright in the footer. By mid-December 2021 the same address was serving a Heart Bingo page instead, and the site’s search traffic had collapsed during October and November that year.
Both smoothbingo.co.uk and smoothbingo.com now forward to Smooth Spins. Its footer says it is operated by BV Gaming Limited, licensed by the Gambling Commission under account 39576, and that the Smooth Spins brand is used under licence from Global Media Group Services Limited. In other words the Smooth name lives on, but on a casino with a different operator from the bingo site we reviewed.
Smooth Bingo Login
The Smooth Bingo login hasn’t existed since 2021. Typing the address now opens Smooth Spins, and because BV Gaming runs that site rather than Gamesys, don’t expect an old Smooth Bingo username and password to work there. You’d need to register with Smooth Spins as a new player if you want to play.
Free Bingo Tickets and Spins
Smooth Bingo’s welcome offer let you pick between free bingo tickets and 30 free spins, and it also ran daily free games for depositors. None of that carried over. Any current Smooth offer belongs to Smooth Spins and comes with that site’s own terms.
Where Players Can Go Now
Former Smooth Bingo players who like the name can read our Smooth Spins review, which covers the site the domain now points to. We’d also suggest Heart Bingo, which BV Gaming runs too. Other closed brands are collected on this closed sites page.
