We had a go on the demo and came away entertained. Rounds are quick, the wins land with a satisfying flourish, and as a single-player sit-down it’s good fun.
How a Demo Round Plays Out
You play with up to four cards, each a five-by-three grid of fifteen numbers, and you can switch individual cards on or off before you commit. Press play and the game draws thirty balls, marking off any that land on your cards.
Wins come from completing patterns, and there are twelve of them. The smallest is a single line, worth 3x your bet per card. From there you climb through shapes, double lines and the big perimeter and rails patterns, up to a full house that pays 1500x. If a small pattern sits inside a bigger winning one, you’re only paid for the bigger.
It moves fast, which is normal for a video bingo demo. A round is over in seconds, so a session can fly by.
The Bonus Features
Three features sit on top of the standard game, and they’re what give Rise of Olympus Bingo its ceiling.
Land the rails pattern and the Hand of God bonus pays a random instant prize of up to 700x your bet per card. The perimeter pattern triggers Wrath of Olympus, a pick-a-relic round that starts with five picks and can stretch to eight, paying up to 1300x. The biggest, Treasure of Olympus, asks you to complete a full house inside the first thirty balls across four active cards, and pays a guaranteed 5000x per card.
There’s also an Extra Ball option. If a round finishes close to a decent win, you can buy up to thirteen extra balls to chase it, with the price scaling to the prize on offer. The headline figure the game flashes up is a top win of 4,250x your total bet.
Is it Really Bingo?
At its core, yes. You’re marking numbers off cards and completing patterns, which is honest bingo. But the money is really in the bonus features and the extra-ball buys, and that pushes it firmly into bingo-slot hybrid territory. Slot players will feel right at home. Anyone after a traditional 90-ball game with a roomful of other players won’t find that here.
A couple of honest caveats. It’s pure luck, with no skill in where the balls fall, and over a long session the loop can feel repetitive. The demo didn’t display an RTP figure either, so we’d check that at your chosen site before playing for real.
Play’n GO have since dressed this exact engine in darker robes as Tome of Madness Bingo. Same balls, same bonuses, same ceiling, different god. If tentacles appeal more than thunderbolts, everything in this review applies there too.
We enjoyed it. The graphics are sharp, the audio is properly atmospheric, and on our test run a single 1x bet returned a tidy 40x, which was a nice surprise. As a free demo to pass twenty minutes with, Rise of Olympus Bingo earns its place.
