It’s an affordable venue to play at either way, with paper books starting as low as £3 and several free sessions at times, including the midday and 6:15pm Cashpots and the 12:45pm and 6:45pm early games.

About Club 3000 Wigan

The Wigan club has a long bingo history, first as a Gala and later as a Buzz, until Buzz pulled out in June 2020. Club 3000 then stepped in, spent more than £2 million doing the place up, and reopened it on Robin Park in the summer of 2021.

The club sits on the retail and leisure park just west of Wigan and right beside the DW Stadium. Parking is free for leisure park customers, though the car park is run by Euro Car Parks with a time limit and camera enforcement, so read the signs before a long evening session. A pay and display car park sits across the way if you need it. There is a bus stop on the main road outside the entrance, with alternative stops on Montrose Avenue, served by the 603, 604 and 959.

The hall itself seats around 1,350, giving it plenty of room even on a busy night. Club 3000 fitted it with a sports bar, an arcade of slot machines and one of the largest bingo screens you’ll come across, and the slots run the usual chance at a jackpot between games. Afternoon play gets going at midday, with the main evening session starting at 6.15pm. You can play on paper or the electronic tablets, and joining up is free at the desk, or you can sign up in advance by clicking the ‘Join’ button on the club’s website.

There’s plenty laid on beyond the standard sessions too, and the line-up is posted a day or two in advance on Facebook. Tuesdays have been the night for Lightning Bingo, a run of 30 fast games with up to £2,000 to be won, and Thursdays have had an over-60s special too, with cheaper tickets plus double prize money up for grabs if you call on a number over 60. Offers like these change from time to time, so it’s worth a quick look at what’s on before you head out.
