About Club 3000 Sunderland

Club 3000 is bringing a brand new bingo club to the centre of Sunderland. The company has confirmed a venue inside The Bridges, the city’s main shopping centre on Crowtree Road, with the doors set to open in early 2027. It isn’t open yet, so think of this as an early look ahead. The opening date, the hours, the sessions and the prices will all go up here the moment Club 3000 releases them.

This is a £5 million project, described by the operator as a state-of-the-art bingo and entertainment venue. Rather than a made-over older hall, the plan is for a fresh build with modern facilities and up-to-date gaming technology.

It will be Club 3000’s second club in the North East, alongside its long-running hall in Peterlee, County Durham. Announcing the plan in May 2026, founder Brian Fraser said the company was thrilled to be expanding in the region, with building work due to start shortly afterwards. There’s no firm opening day beyond early 2027 at this stage.

The Bridges sits right in the heart of Sunderland, a short walk from the main shops and the city’s transport links. Being a city-centre shopping centre, it should be a straightforward one to reach on foot, by bus or on the Tyne and Wear Metro, with the centre’s own car parking on hand for anyone driving in. We’ll confirm the nearest stops, the entrance and the parking arrangements once the club is open and we can check them properly.

If Club 3000 is new to you, its clubs generally open from midday through to the evening every day, with games available on both paper books or touchscreen tablets, a large bank of slot machines, and food and drink available on site. This venue is likely to operate along similar lines, but none of that is set in stone until the club sets out its own plans. Membership will be free, and can either be completed in a couple of minutes on your first visit, or you can register in advance today.

For now, the best way to follow progress is the Club 3000 Sunderland Facebook page, with the operator’s app worth a look too once it lists the venue. Opening news and the first session details will show up there first. Treat everything on this page as provisional until the club opens.
