Big Bass Splash
Pragmatic Play
Low volatility that behaves like it says on the tin, with rounds of 26x to 95.5x the stake in our play. The x2 retrigger is where it comes alive, but you'll need four fishermen to see it, and there's no buy to skip the wait.
Three spins from the end of our best Big Bass Bonanza round, four fish worth £130 between them sat on the reels, and a fisherman landed right in the middle of them. He scooped the lot. That round finished on £191 from a £2 stake, and it took 134 spins to get there. We played four rounds of free spins in the demo above, all in the UK version, and built this page on what they showed us.

The other three rounds were a mixed bag. The first came after 41 spins and paid £62, almost all from one fisherman who caught a £20 and a £40 fish together. The second needed 115 spins and paid £53. The third landed 48 spins after that one ended and gave us the best moment of the lot, which comes up in the free spins section below.
It’s a busy, bright game. The fish sit on orange tiles with their values printed underneath, so you can add up what’s on the reels before the fisherman arrives. Big wins trigger a full-screen banner that counts up the total from a few pounds, and the £60 one held the screen for a good 15 seconds before play continued.
Pragmatic’s rules set the return to player at 96.71% and mark the game as low volatility, meaning it pays out more often in smaller amounts. Our four rounds fit that description. Two paid 26.5x and 31x the stake, one was still running at 73.5x when our session ended, and the best reached 95.5x.
Wins are capped at 2,100x the bet. A free spins round that hits the cap ends there, and any remaining spins are lost.
The layout is five reels by three rows with ten paylines. Stakes range from £ 10 to £250, but UK players are limited to £5 per spin on online slots, with a £2 cap for players under 25. The UK version also omits autoplay and the turbo spin you’ll find in Pragmatic’s international build, which our hub loads.
Pays show in pounds at the demo’s £2 default. Next to each figure, we’ve put what it means as a multiple of your total stake.
| Symbol | x5 | x4 | x3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Float | 200x (£400) | 20x (£40) | 5x (£10) |
| Rod and reel | 100x (£200) | 15x (£30) | 3x (£6) |
| Dragonfly | 50x (£100) | 10x (£20) | 2x (£4) |
| Tackle box | 50x (£100) | 10x (£20) | 2x (£4) |
| Fish | 20x (£40) | 5x (£10) | 1x (£2) |
| A / K / Q / J / 10 | 10x (£20) | 2.5x (£5) | 0.5x (£1) |

The float also pays for just two on a line, £1 at this stake. All five letters share one set of prizes, and only the biggest win on each line counts.
Three, four or five scatters give 10, 15 or 20 free spins. The wild is a fisherman who only shows up once the free spins start, and his job is collecting. Each fish is tagged with a cash prize from 2x to 2,000x the bet, and when he lands, he takes all the fish showing.

Each fisherman also lights a space on the bar across the top. Collect four and you get 10 more spins with fish values doubled, then tripled after eight and multiplied by ten after twelve, which is the last retrigger the game allows. If a free spin ends with exactly one fisherman on the reels, fish can also be dropped in at random.
Our third round showed how much the retrigger matters. The fourth fisherman arrived on the final spin with the round on £59, and the game awarded 10 more spins at x2.

Soon afterwards, a doubled fisherman collected £88 in one go, and the round jumped to £147. Our session ended with spins still to play, so we never saw where it finished.

You can’t buy the feature in this game, in either version we tried, and there are no pre-round modifiers. The only way in is three scatters.
Our Big Bass Splash demo is the closest relative. It has the same 96.71% RTP and identical pays for the five picture symbols, but Splash is medium volatility, caps wins at 5,000x and draws up to five modifiers before each round. Its letters pay less across the board, with a five-of-a-kind Q, J or 10 worth half what it gets here.
Pragmatic’s own pages describe the other versions bingo lobbies carry.
This one appeared in more bingo lobbies than almost anything else we checked, landing in the most-played rows at 11 of the 16 sites from brands we partner with. Only Big Bass Splash appeared more often.
MrQ lists it in its Top games section, and our MrQ review covers the site. You’ll find plenty more choice among the newer UK slot sites we’ve reviewed, or you can carry on with our slot demo hub.
